Hand in the Sand

Look at the big white hand in the sand on the beach at Punta del Este, Uruguay! Recently painted white it looks better than the last time I saw it when it was pealing green paint. I suppose with the constant winds and sand it needs a lot of attention.

It was a cold and windy day but plenty of tourists were checking out the hand.
